LG became the first Korean company to supply handsets to the Japanese wireless carrier!
LG Electronics will supply phones wired for the WCDMA wireless broadband technology to Japan's largest mobile operator NTT DoCoMo from April, the company said Tuesday. The SIMPURE L handset equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera is designed for NTT's third-generation broadband service, and incorporates FOMA (freedom of mobile multimedia access) technology that makes data transmission and reception easier, it added.Source: Chosun Ibon
